Quite some people are worried about what happens with their info and pics on Facebook. Especially now that Facebook goes to the stock exchange, worries increase. Facebook stocks all info on their local server to which no one has access. A couple of NY geeks decided that a decentralized stocking of data in an open source way of working would be a good alternative. They called the project "Diaspora".
